This morning I was talking with one of my LinkedIn connections. (You are getting on the phone with your LinkedIn connections right?) And he mentioned that a landing page I had created looked really good. Then we moved off topic and started talking about something something else. But then I got thinking...
You might be interested in this tool and another that I use as well. The landing page tool I use is literally dirt cheap, as in as little as $19 a year for five pages, not a month, a year! I think it makes beautiful pages.
I went all out and got the primo edition that makes 25 pages for a whopping $49 a year. Again, that's not a month. It's a year! Now they're not big multi page sites, just hosted, one page landing pages, or simple intro sites. But really, they're beautiful. This is all at Carrd.co. The developer actually answers support calls as well. Quite honestly I love it!
I know, MailChimp offers the same thing right? Well actually no. MailChimp's free version does not offer all the features. But with MailerLite you get everything, all the features, for free with under 1,000 subscribers. And with more subscribers their monthly subscription cost still beats everybody else.
The only catch is that you have to have your own domain and a web page to subscribe to MailerLite. But domains are cheap and If you don't have your own web page you can whip one up on Carrd.co right?
Both of these tools integrate nicely with a native API integration. So, you don't have to be an IT wizard to make them work together.
So, if you're jsut starting out and you want to keep your costs down. Or, even if you're not not just starting out, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg, these are great tools to create beautiful landing pages and gather email subscribers.. And again, they're cheap! So have fun!
By the way, if you want to learn how to prospect locally on LinkedIn, I do a training webinar around using LinkedIn to prospect for local leads on LinkedIn, I'd love to see you on my upcoming training webinar if you're up for it. Here's the registration page (by the way, made with Carrd): LinkedLocal.us
